Cardwell is located approximately 2hrs 20min south of Cairns and 2hrs north of Townsville on the Bruce Highway.

To find the Cardwell Golf Club, turn into Brasenose Street (look for the servo with the Big Crab), cross the railway line and turn left into Gregory Street.
